Nerdin'

Okay, so I am pretty psyched about this one, it was a lot of fun!  I did this one for Mojo Monday Challenge #179.  I was SO excited about the papers I used, you should have seen me in AC Moore when I found the red Cosmo Cricket #2 Pencil Test Paper, I think my eyeballs popped completely out of their sockets, I couldn't wait to use it. I showed this to my hubs and he laughed and asked me who I would give this to?  And I told him some lucky guy or gal is getting this for graduatin'.

Quiltin'

I attempted the quilting of paper which was pretty fun and I'd like to do this a few more times.  I used my new Spellbinders for this one! Woot woot! or maybe I should say Hoot Hoot! yessssss.

Craftin' on Prez Day

I know you all have been DYING for an update (sarcasm).  I was lazy all weekend but had the day off today and spent a solid 6 hours of the day craftin', loved every minute.  I probably should have been doing laundry or vacuuming, but that can wait.  I have an obsession with notebook & graph paper so I felt inspired to use those in today's cards.

Mojo-in'

So the reason I started this blog was to participate in the weekly challenges that require a blog link to enter.  I did this one from the Mojo Monday Challenge #178...I'm pretty happy with how it came out, but I always think I'm missing something!
A co-worker of mine just had surgery and I wanted to make her a 'get well' card so I thought this was a good way to do it.  I'm pretty psyched to learn about these challenges because it is helping me think outside of my typical design aesthetic.

Punchin'

I made this card with the mini punches I ordered from Jess's Stampin' Up party - I like how it came out, it took a while but I think it was definitely worth the effort.  I like order, patterns and straight lines so this was easy for me.  I can't wait to make more of these types of cards!  I'm a little compulsive and spent a few hours in front of the TV on Monday night just punching these shapes out of every color paper I could find so that I would have them handy for upcoming projects.

Bloggin'

So my friends Jess and Kendra convinced me (without trying too hard) to create my own blog.  I didn't really have a desire to blog at first but then once I saw that I could enter crafting challenges and a blog link was required I decided to do it!  It's way easier than I thought it would be.  Sooo, I'll try to keep it updated, but I'm lazy when I'm home so we'll see.

P.S.  Doesn't the word 'Bloggin'' sound dirty?
